Francis McKeagney, Chief Executive Officer

Fran is CEO of InnerWorkings, a position he has held since founding the company in 2003. Drawing on his deep knowledge of the learning industry, Fran shaped the company’s earliest vision of transforming the way software developers learn and are supported in the workplace. Fran oversees the company’s strategic activities to facilitate rapid expansion in the U.S. and worldwide.

Fran gained extensive experience at the executive level of the learning industry. During his 13 year tenure at SkillSoft (NASDAQ: SKIL), he brought vision, insight, and commitment to help the company reach a market capitalization exceeding $2 billion. Fran was instrumental in the company's bold transition from computer-based training to e-learning in 1999. As EVP of Research & Development at SkillSoft, he owned an annual budget of $50 million and led a team of 650 people distributed across six countries.

Dan Phelan, VP of Worldwide Sales

Dan is responsible for InnerWorkings’ worldwide sales strategy and execution. He manages a team of direct and inside sales professionals who focus on the enterprise software space. Previously, Dan was VP of North American Sales for FaceTime Communications, driving year over year sales and revenue growth. He was also the first VP of Sales at PortAuthority Technologies (now Websense NASDAQ: WBSN), and held positions in both enterprise and OEM sales at RSA Security (NASDAQ: RSAS).

Brian Finnerty, VP of Marketing

Brian is responsible for InnerWorkings’ strategic marketing initiatives, with a focus on building the sales funnel through lead generation and nurturing activities. He manages the corporate website, developer outreach programs, and associated e-commerce goals. Brian also oversees product marketing, customer communications, and PR. In addition, Brian maintains the company’s formal relationship with Microsoft through the Gold Certified and VSIP programs. During his 7 year tenure at SkillSoft (NASDAQ: SKIL), Brian managed the Technical Writing Department and several offshore content development shops, gaining extensive content development, project management, and business development experience.

Robert Brady, VP of Operations, Ireland

Bobby oversees day-to-day operational activities for InnerWorkings’ R&D organization in Dublin, Ireland. His responsibilities include business planning, strategic management, and execution of development objectives. Bobby also manages the company’s relationship with Enterprise Ireland, a key supporter and financial investor. Bobby spent 14 years at SkillSoft (NASDAQ: SKIL), where he established a Manufacturing and Distribution organization and achieved ISO 9002 accreditation. Bobby was also responsible for Internal Systems Development, including the delivery of a web-based order fulfillment system, web-based financial applications, and a content planning system.
